Jimmy Carter was the first President to have been born in a hospital.
Carter was the first President to walk from the Capitol to the White House in the inaugural parade following the swearing in ceremony.
Carter was also the first President to do a phone in Q and A from the public, and was the longest living President after leaving the Presidency.
